Falk Gärtner

Falk Gärtner is a Freelance Supervisor and Compositing Artist based in Berlin.
At the age of nine he slipped into an elite computer class in East Germany. Shortly after that he discovered his passion for 3D modelling/texturing/animation. He then went on to study communication design where he now holds a diploma.
In 1999 he started as the first laptop VJ in Germany and has played alongside big acts such as Westbam and Paul van Dyk.
In 2001 he started to combine his learned skills and natural understanding of movie sets and became a Visual Effects Supervisor and On Set Supervisor.
In 2002 he also came to compositing in a movie to learn all tricks of the trade to be a better supervisor and develop an understanding for all artists involved of visual effects.
Since then he has worked on many national and international commercials both as a Supervisor and Compositing Artist.
