Judy is a Berlin-based freelance film and video editor with over 13 years of experience. What started with drawing comics as a kid eventually turned into a love for moving images during her Multimedia Art studies in Salzburg.
Her work mainly lives in the documentary, fiction, music video and commercial world, with a focus on intimate, character-driven storytelling. She also briefly ventured into co-directing on the documentary film Teaches of Peaches, which ended up winning a Teddy Award at the Berlinale 2024.
Over the years, she’s repeatedly collaborated with people like Matt Lambert or Bruce LaBruce, often from her home studio. Judy values an easygoing work environment that leaves room for thinking, snacks, and the occasional wall full of good old Post-its serving as a mind map.
